A Higher Perspective on Healing
Charelle, a Licensed Clinical Therapist

Healing is more than managing symptoms, it’s learning to understand your experiences, reconnect with your body, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

Hi, I’m Charelle, a licensed clinical therapist and the founder of Peregrine Mental Health. I started this practice because I believe that no one should have to face life’s hardest moments feeling alone or like they have to figure it all out on their own.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, perfectionism, or the challenges that can come with adolescence, I want you to have a place where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing and feel genuinely understood. I’m  here to walk alongside you through changes in relationships, divorce, blended families, and the unexpected transitions that life can bring.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation. My style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll make sense of the hard stuff, and work toward helping you feel more like yourself again. I recognize that life can be difficult, and I won’t minimize the pain or uncertainty that can come with it. At the same time, I believe you already have within you the strength, resilience, and wisdom to move forward. Together, we’ll work toward greater clarity, healing, and meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

Therapy Tailored to Your Unique Journey

No two individuals share the same experiences, which is why therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. My approach is centered on understanding your unique story, challenges, strengths, and goals so I can provide meaningful support that meets you where you are.

I thoughtfully draw from several evidence-based therapies to create a personalized experience that meets your needs. My work incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an effective treatment for trauma and many other mental health concerns.

How I can Support Your Journey

Individual Therapy

Life can present challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about the future. Individual therapy provides a safe, supportive environment to explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and goals. Together, we’ll work to better understand the patterns affecting your well-being while developing practical tools that support meaningful growth and lasting change.

Anxiety & Stress Support

Persistent stress and anxiety can affect every aspect of life, from relationships and work to physical and emotional health. Therapy can help you better understand your stress responses, identify triggers, and develop healthier ways to manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions. My goal is to help you create greater balance, confidence, and peace in your daily life.

Trauma & Healing

Traumatic experiences can continue to impact thoughts, emotions, relationships, and overall well-being long after the event itself has passed. Through a compassionate and trauma-informed approach, I help clients process difficult experiences while building safety, resilience, and self-understanding. Healing is not about forgetting the past, it's about creating a healthier relationship with it.

Embodied Healing Therapy

My embodied approach recognizes that emotions, stress, and life experiences are often felt throughout the entire body, not just the mind. By increasing awareness of physical sensations, emotional responses, and behavioral patterns, you can gain deeper insight into yourself and create meaningful, lasting change. This approach supports healing through a greater understanding of the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being.

Supportive Care for Women & Mothers

A compassionate space for women going through some of life’s most tender and challenging seasons, including infertility, infant loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, and the many emotional changes that can come with motherhood. Together, we can create space for these experiences, work through difficult emotions, and find meaningful ways to move forward with greater self-compassion and support.

Life Transitions

Major life changes often bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional challenges. Whether you're experiencing career changes, relationship transitions, grief, parenthood, relocation, or other significant life events, therapy can provide support and guidance during times of adjustment. Together, we’ll work through these changes while helping you maintain a strong sense of self and direction.

Practical Tools

Developing healthy, sustainable coping strategies that encourage continued growth and emotional well-being beyond therapy sessions. This includes learning and practicing mindfulness tools and present-moment awareness to help manage stress, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges with greater intention and resilience.

Relationship & Interpersonal Challenges

Healthy relationships play a significant role in emotional well-being, yet navigating conflict, communication difficulties, and relationship stress can be challenging. Therapy can help you better understand relationship patterns, strengthen communication skills, establish healthy boundaries, and build more meaningful connections with others.
